Architectural Masonry: Split Face® Rock Face Masonry Units
Anchor's Split Face Block is a structural concrete masonry unit composed of specialty colored aggregates and color mix design. The split face texture offers a more rugged stone appearance. Split Face Block is manufactured as one large unit, cured, and then split in half.
Because the Split Face Block offers many face designs, it allows creativity as well as durability. Most popular is the split face unit, followed by th 2 Rib split unit which achieves an 8" by 8" appearance. Also available are 3 Rib, 4 Rib, 6 Rib and 8 Rib split units. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility uses a 4-way hydraulic splitting process which ensures splitting of the aggregate within the block and more uniform texture of the split.
